Nidderdale Lead recreates this ancient tradition from our small foundry in the heart of North Yorkshire, where we produce the highest quality lead pieces for the garden. All of our leadwork is traditionally hand made from start to finish, by a small team of highly skilled craftsmen, using techniques that have scarcely changed over the years. We are only a small foundry, and proud to be so. This way we can be sure that all our items are made to the highest standard.
We have a wide range of leadwork in our range, lead planters, lead fountains, lead birdbaths etc, to suit most locations, but we appreciate we may not have just what you are looking for, which is why we offer a bespoke service, from a planter to fit an awkward corner, to a custom built fountain, there is virtually no end to lead's possibilities.
All our leadwork is frost proof and will survive the harshest of conditions gaining in beauty from season to season, as they age. Lead has been used for storing water since Roman times as it does not corrode or rust and is not susceptible to mildew.
